In Mysteries of the Afterlife he delivers a clearly written and compelling explanation of heaven, hell, and the afterlife. Can we communicate with the dead? Are "near-death" experiences real? And the most important question of all—what is your eternal destiny? "Whether you realize it or not, your journey toward your final destination began the day you're born. And the beginning of your discovery of what lies beyond the grave starts right now." —Ron Jones

Book excerpt: Want to know who you were in a previous life? Puzzling over another dream? It is interesting to know if there is life after death. Then read this amazing book. Sensational revelations of people who survived clinical death, practical tips on how to unleash the ability to see through the walls, and remember kilometers of texts. Be the first to know about it - deciphering various mysteries. We are particularly concerned about the most fundamental issues. For example, is there life after death, and if so, in what form? And again, we have no clear answer. However, maybe the only thing is that you need to collect all the facts together and, building them into a mathematical example, find the only possible solution? In this book, we will talk about the riddles of the very nature of the human being, about things that our influence can hardly extend to.Is it otherwise, any of the five chapters of this book is dedicated to the human soul. Even the theme of the brutality of children in the wild or under the care of animals has a direct relationship to us because we are talking about the principles and systems of the emergence of the mind.People are always interested in what awaits them after death. Is there life beyond this threshold? What phenomenal abilities do the minutes of death in a resuscitated person lead to, what really happens when the heart is motionless? For the first time, the opportunity is described here during life to experience those out-of-body experiences that usually occur only at death. In the book, you will find a guide to action during clinical death (self-resuscitation), which can save your life.

Download or read book Death and the Afterlife in the New Testament written by Jaime Clark-Soles and published by Bloomsbury Publishing USA. This book was released on 2006-11-15 with total page 272 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: Clark-Soles began this project in order to answer the question, "What exactly does the New Testament say about death and afterlife?" It turns out that it says both more and less than one might hope or expect. By more, she means that every time the subject of death and what happens after death arises, it is clear that the authors' interests far exceed answering that single question. Their comments emerge from the concerns and experiences of living Christian communities, they relate to a larger theological and pastoral agenda, and their primary focus remains life on earth and the proper living of it. The texts say less than one may hope because no author sets out to answer my question directly. There is no systematic theology in the New Testament regarding death and aftelife. Certainly resurrection appears throughout, though differently emphasized and interpreted. Beyond that, the fascinating aspects of the question are in the details of the texts. Therefore, the appropriate question, as it turns out, is not: What does the New Testament say about death and afterlife, but what do various New Testament texts say about it? Others have sought to unify the New Testament witness, glossing over the individual pictures presented by the New Testament authors. Clark-Soles revels in the snapshots of the individuals and am less interested in the family photo. Clark-Soles inquires into the specific language that each author uses regarding death and afterlife. She explores anthropology, cosmology, eschatology, and, where relevant, theology and Christology. Finally, Clark-Soles suggests ways that the stated views function in each situation.

Download or read book Back to the Afterlife written by Bernie Kastner and published by Rvp Press. This book was released on 2013-09-15 with total page 258 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: The fear of death has possessed most of us at one time or another, sometimes in a moment of crisis, at other times in a moment of silent thought. But what if we had answers to the mysteries surrounding the afterlife? Would that fear be alleviated? Could we find some solace in that knowledge? And, most importantly, might we live our lives differently? "Back to the Afterlife" demystifies one of humanity's greatest enigmas, and, in doing so, helps us gain a new perspective on the lives we lead today. Using scientific research, kabalistic sources, and other references in Judeo-Christian philosophy, the book explores the soul's travels, from thirty days before dying through the actual transition, as well as the various stations along its journey. None of the ancient or even more modern religious or secular texts delineate this journey in step-by-step detail. For the first time ever, this book does just that in an accessible and fascinating way. Reading this text will illuminate the soul's continued journey, and bring hope, comfort, and understanding to those wracked by fear of death or dealing with a crippling loss. One's impression of life and its inevitable end will be forever changed.
